Yes, This Is What Rihanna Wears on Her Starbucks Runs

Our jaws collectively dropped when Rihanna stepped onto the 2016 Billboard Music Awards red carpet in a decidedly more demure (for the pop star, that is) vintage Thierry Mugler dress with an '80s-appropriate shoulder-driven silhouette and a matching lady-like 'do. But don't fret: The Anti singer isn't ditching the '90s hip-hop aesthetic she so confidently has rocked in the past year.

In fact, that's exactly what she exuded Tuesday in New York, when she took a break from her busy tour schedule to grab a Starbucks coffee and, naturally, dress in an ensemble only suited for a chart-topping diva. Paying homage to one of the decade's most celebrated rock bands, Rihanna wore an oversize tie-dye Nine Inch Nails T-shirt and strategically styled it with distressed blue jeans, Chopard jewels, and a sexy pair of denim Manolo Blahnik boots from her collaboration with the brand--the bedazzled chaps perhaps would have been too much for this outing.

And as if that weren't enough, she once again mastered the art of pairing closet staples that would theoretically clash by rocking an off-the-shoulder fur stole (in the spring!) with chunky jewels and the same fresh-out-the-shower 'do she sported at this past weekend's awards show. Way to keep us guessing, Rihanna.
