Yahoo Finance's cocktail of the week: The soft landing

It's been a wild week for the markets. Even though the S&P 500 (^GSPC) ended the week higher than it began, it still managed to swing 53 points - or about two and a half percent - from its five day high to its five day low. It's enough to drive an investor to drink. So that's just what we're gonna do.

We've got the perfect cocktail for the weary trader who has heard enough about China's economy and devalued currency to last a lifetime.

So give this a try; we call it the Yahoo Finance "soft landing."

In a cocktail shaker full of ice mix one and a half ounces of vodka, one and a half ounces of lychee puree, half an ounce of simple syrup and half an ounce of Cointreau.

Now give it all good shake and strain it into a nice cold martini glass.

Since we all still wish the Chinese well in dealing with their crazy economy, top it off with a little grenadine to turn that cocktail red - the traditional color of luck and wealth in China - and garnish it with a lychee.

Now just sit back, relax and enjoy your soft landing. Who knows what the markets may bring you next week.
