Wolves vs Liverpool: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results - preview

In-form Liverpool will look to stay amongst the goals as they travel to take on Wolves today.

With a ruthless display against Everton, the Reds made it 18 games in a row in all competitions that they have scored two or more goals in, and they show no sign of slowing down.

Arsenal, Porto, Southampton and their Merseyside rivals have all been beaten since the international break, and Wolves face a huge challenge to halt Liverpool’s momentum.

Bruno Lage’s side were held to a frustrating draw at home to Burnley in midweek, and on paper face a very difficult month ahead. They play Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United in their next seven matches.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Wolves vs Liverpool is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off today - Saturday December 4, 2021.

The match will take place at Molineux.

Where to watch Wolves vs Liverpool

With the game kicking off at 3pm GMT, fans will be unable to watch live because of the blackout at the time in English football.

Highlights, however, will be available on Match of the Day which broadcasts at 10.20pm GMT on Saturday night.

Wolves vs Liverpool team news

Daniel Podence could return for Wolves, after he has been out with Covid-19. Bruno Lage confirmed ahead of the Burnley match that Fernando Marcal had tested positive so he will once again be absent, while Pedro Neto and Willy Boly are still out long-term.

Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez and Naby Keita are all close to a return for Jurgen Klopp’s side, but Saturday’s clash may come just too soon. Liverpool did not appear to pick up any injuries in their derby rout over Everton.

Wolves vs Liverpool prediction

Wolves have gone somewhat under the radar so far this season, but they have quietly about their business and are sixth in the table. They have only conceded 12 goals in the league, the same as Liverpool.

But the Reds have found the back of the net 43 times, 31 more than their opponents on Saturday, and arrive in destructive form.

Mo Salah has been at his very best this season, and if he and his teammates are close to the level they have shown since returning from the international break, it will be enough for another three points.
