WestJet to offer weekly direct flight from St. John's to Tampa in 2017

Good news for Newfoundland and Labrador snowbirds.

WestJet announced its winter 2017 flight schedule Monday, and there are a few additions of interest for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. Starting in April 2017, WestJet will offer a weekly direct flight from St. John's to Tampa, Florida.

The airline will also expand its Toronto-Gander connection. Beginning Oct. 24 of this year, the flight will be offered four times per week.
