Wayne Rooney treats four sons to Salt Bae’s £630 steak

Wayne Rooney was the latest celebrity to dine on £630 gold steak at Salt Bae’s Knightsbridge restaurant.

The football legend treated his four sons and his wife Coleen to a extravagant meal on Wednesday evening.

Many footballers have been attracted to the restaurant, especially the one located in Dubai so it’s no wonder Mr Rooney booked a table for his family when Salt Bae came to London.

In a friendly photograph, Mr Rooney and Salt Bae wrapped their arms around each other while posing for the shot.

The restauranteur hailed the sports star as his “brother” and he said the Rooneys were a “great family” in a series of gushing Instagram posts.

Mr Rooney responded as he reshared one of the photographs with the caption: “Thanks for the great food and experience.”

Salt Bae opening a restaurant in Knightsbridge has sparked a lot of controversy over the prices.

This led to Salt Bae being branded a “Mickey Mouse” chef by Michelin star chef Daniel Clifford.

But Seven 54’s owner NikolasOpacic, 30, called the Turkish chef, 38, a “genius” for being fully booked on “insane prices”.

He said the people complaining weren’t even visiting the much-talked about restaurant.

Salt Bae — whose real name is Nusret Gökçe — went viral for his signature salt sprinkling move.

He dazzled everyone when he simply rotated his wrist to shower salt from his fingertips in a showy way to season food.

Already the chef has blown people away with his restaurants in glamorous locations all over the world including New York, Dubai and Istanbul.

Leonardo DiCaprio, David Beckham, Jason Statham and Naomi Campbell have been among the famous faces who have eaten at his restaurants.
