WATCH: Airline Crew Surprises Couple With Impromptu Wedding Ceremony

It was an impromptu “I do.”

Over the weekend, a couple tied the knot on a JetBlue flight from Boston to Seattle, according to Jaunted. Only it wasn’t an actual legal ceremony — it was just for fun.

The couple, Chas and Dina, originally set out to elope to Seattle to save money. But when the JetBlue flight crew heard about their plans, they decided to throw them a surprise makeshift ceremony of their own in preparation for the real thing.

The crew got ridiculously creative.

They whipped up a garbage bag veil (!!), and a sugar-packet bouquet using napkins as petals. They also had them “exchange wings,” and in the end, pronounced them “travel companions.” A random passenger also happened to have his saxophone on board, and he celebrated them with a serenade!

“We knew we wanted to get married years ago, but since we have about $50k in combined student loan debt and both currently work for nonprofits, we focused on paying down our loans and kept putting the wedding planning off.

With our 10th anniversary coming up, we decided to just go for it. We hopped on a plane to Seattle from Boston, where we are from, and planned to secretly elope after road tripping down to San Diego,” Chas and Dina wrote in the caption of their YouTube video.

“The ‘wedding’ that JetBlue (thankfully) put on for us was more elaborate than the actual wedding ceremony we had planned,” they continued. Now let’s hope their marriage is full of just as many surprises and adventures.
