Wall Street Fundamentals Releases New In-Depth Stock Reports on BP, COP, CVX and MUR

Expectations of growing inventories pressured oil prices to a one-month low Tuesday. Light, sweet crude for April delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange closed at $100.03 a barrel Tuesday. The U.S. Energy Information Administration is scheduled to release inventory data at 10:30 a.m. EDT. According to Bloomberg supplies are expected to grow by 2.0 million barrels. Separately, data from the American Petroleum Institute showed crude stockpiles increased by 2.6 million barrels. Here is how some oil & gas stocks reacted Tuesday:

BP plc (NYSE:BP - News) shares traded in the range of $48.11 to $48.65 Tuesday before settling to close at $48.22, a decrease of 0.45 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $48.78 and $50.73 levels with some support at $47.92 and $47.04. Shares of BP have fallen approximately 1.0 percent year-to-date.

ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP - News) shares traded in the range of $66.28 to $67.39 Tuesday before settling to close at $66.53, a decrease of 0.54 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $66.64 and $67.77 levels with some support at $63.46. Shares of ConocoPhillips have fallen approximately 6.0 percent year-to-date.

Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX - News) shares traded in the range of $114.24 to $116.23 Tuesday before settling to close at $114.51, a decrease of 1.15 percent.
