Yahoo Finance Volvo Prices 2016 S60 Inscription From $39,695, S60 Cross Country From $44,495
Volvo is expanding its S60 range with two new additions for the 2016 model year. One is the long-wheelbase S60 Inscription that’s sourced from China and the other is the unique S60 Cross Country soft-road sedan.
The 2016 S60 Inscription is the less expensive of the two, with its pricing starting at $39,695, including a $995 destination charge. It’s the first Chinese-built vehicle to be offered by a mainstream automaker in the U.S. and comes to the market with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine good for 240 horsepower as well as front-wheel drive in base trim. A more potent turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine rated at 250 horsepower together with all-wheel drive is available.

In addition to adding an extra 2.9 inches of legroom, the S60 Inscription also comes with some premium touches such as walnut and metal inlays, interior accent lighting, a power rear sunshade, side window shades, 18-inch alloys and Inscription-branded tread plates.
The 2016 S60 Cross Country, meanwhile, is aimed at more adventurous types. The vehicle is essentially the sedan version of the V60 Cross Country introduced last year. It comes in one configuration only, priced from $44,495, once again including a $995 charge. It features the same 250-hp five-cylinder engine mentioned above as well as standard all-wheel drive.
Together with these two additions, Volvo has also enhanced its 2016 S60 and V60 lineups with new wheel patterns. Navigation has also been made standard on many models.
