VIQ Solutions Inc. (V.VQS) hit a new 52-week high of $4.30 Thursday. VIQ Solutions announced Thursday the acquisition of a leading US transcription provider, wordZXpressed, IInc. of Atlanta, VIQ’s fifth accretive acquisition in 14 months. The WordZ acquisition definitive agreement was signed on Wednesday.

Continental Gold Inc. (T.CNL) hit a new 52-week high of $5.49 Thursday. Continental Gold has been advised by Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. that Zijin has received the Canadian Investment Canada Act approval, as well as all three of the required regulatory approvals from the People's Republic of China for the previously-announced plan of arrangement involving the Company, Zijin and 2727957 Ontario Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zijin.

Hudson’s Bay Company (T.HBC) hit a new 52-week high of $10.94 Thursday. Hudson’s Bay Company’s shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favor of a plan to become a private company at a special meeting of shareholders held earlier today. Shareholders approved the resolution with 98.28% of the votes cast at the meeting being voted in favor of the plan, surpassing the required favorable vote of at least 75%. The special resolution also required approval by a “majority of the minority” shareholders and 94.46% of the votes cast by minority shareholders were voted in favor of the resolution.
