Viagra price cut for Canadians

Pfizer (PFE) is reducing prices of Viagra in Canada in an effort to compete with generic versions of the erectile dysfunction drug. The pharmaceutical has been struggling the past year as its blockbuster drugs come off patent protection. It lost U.S. patent protection for the cholesterol fighter Lipitor about a year ago. Viagra generated $517 mil during Pfizer's Q3. Generic versions of Viagra won't be available in the U.S. until late 2019. Pfizer rose 1%.
