(Reuters) - Verizon said on Thursday it will offer 12 months of Netflix Premium plan for free to customers who purchase one year of the National Football League's exclusive premium streaming service.

The U.S. telecom giant combines its popular "myPlan" offering with streaming packages, such as Warner Bros Discovery's Max and Disney+, to attract customers.

Starting Thursday, Verizon customers can save up to $276 annually on the latest bundle of NFL+ Premium and Netflix.

Customers can stream seven exclusive live games during the 2024-2025 season and tune into NFL Network 24/7 for football news and coverage.

In June, the company announced its "myHome" plan for Verizon's Home Internet customers, which offers streaming services such as Disney+ and YouTube Premium, among others, as part of a bundled offering starting at $10 per month.
