YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: Amid her ongoing divorce from Brian Austin Green, undeniably stunning “Transformers” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” star Megan Fox put her modest-by-celebrity-standards residence on a remarkably unremarkable street in an unassuming section of L.A.’S affluent Sherman Oaks community up for sale with an asking price of $1,299,000. Property records show and the people at Trulia appear to be the first to reveal, the clapboard-faced and stone-accented one-story abode was purchased in August 2012 for $899,000 by the deeply religious and sometimes controversially candid brunette bombshell who told Esquire magazine in 2013 she occasionally felt the urge to speak in tongues — she said she regularly attended a Pentecostal church in her youth — and who ignited a proper feud when she made unflattering comparisons between both Napoleon and Adolf Hitler and her frequent boss, “Transformers” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” franchise mega-producer Michael Bay. In case any of y’all aren’t current on the years-long brouhaha, Mister Bay and Miz Fox have since made nice-nice and worked together again on the upcoming installment of the Ninja Turtles series. Anyhoo…

The 2,494-square foot house, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, was completely rebuilt in 2007 and, though we can’t identify what makes it so or even what it actually means, is described in current listing details as “emotionally charged.” A long, narrow and all-but featureless entrance hall passes an office/den with an atrociously pedestrian but easily replaced ceiling fan as it makes its way to what listing details describe as the “’heart and soul’ of the house,” a comfortably ample combination living/dining/kitchen space with vaulted ceiling and glossy, honey-toned hardwood floors. A television-surmounted fireplace sits between built-in cabinetry in the living area and the kitchen has granite counter tops, cherry wood-toned raised panel cabinetry, a walk-in pantry, and a doublewide center island with integrated snack counter. It would appear the house was not designed with a separate family room so Miz Fox, who apparently wanted one, rather inelegantly and without much decorative ado converted the attached two-car garage into a make-shift family/game room with wall-to-wall carpeting and a bolt of not entirely opaque black fabric tackily tacked up over the garage door that can still be opened, we presume, with the remote controlled garage door opener that hangs from the ceiling. Two small and boxy guest/family bedrooms share a perfectly serviceable if absolutely quotidian hall bathroom while the master suite has a vaulted ceiling and encompasses a good-sized walk-in closet and travertine-tiled bathroom with double sinks and make-up vanity. Wood-framed glass doors in the living/dining area open to a slate-tiled terrace with an angled, stacked stone outdoor fireplace and an unfortunately up-close view of the beige stucco wall of the neighboring house while another set of wood-framed glass doors in the master bedroom lead out to an exceptionally slender extension of the walled backyard that incorporates a wee patch of possibly faux grass and a picturesque, waterfall-fed koi pond.

Celebrity real estate watchers will recall the erstwhile couple, together for 11 years and married for about five, made several, well-documented multi-million dollar real estate moves in the latter days of their union. In August 2014, about a year before their split become tabloid fodder, the generously tatted pair sold a three-story Mediterranean villa with panoramic city views in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles for $3.75 million. That sale came just a couple of months after they forked over $3.35 million for a 6,710-square-foot ranch-style contemporary in the celebrified Toluca Lake area that was billed in marketing materials at the time as “Bing Crosby’s original carriage house.” The Fox-Greens had the single-story residence cosmetically refreshed by house flipping reality television regular Jeff Lewis — it was featured on his most recent season of “Flipping Out” — before they dumped it in December, 2015, in an off-market deal for $2.6 million, a sale price our handy-dandy bejeweled abacus computes as a three-quarters of a million dollar financial gut punch.

While we can’t speak with any certainty or inside intel on the matter, this property gossip would bet the proverbial farm Fox will move some place bigger and more expensive. And, just to close the celebrity real estate circle on this one, some months ago we heard through the celebrity real estate gossip grapevine that Austin Green, a father to three who has reportedly asked for spousal support because he’s unable to work very often due to a severe case of vertigo, moved his newly bachelorized things to a roomy, family-friendly Colonial style residence on about 2.5 Bel Air acres that, as far as we can figure, was last available on the open market at a rate of $22,000 per month.
