The "Ugly" Shoe Celebs Can't Stop Wearing Is on Sale at Amazon — Today Only

Since the early 2000s, my dad has religiously worn Crocs. To be fair, he typically reserves the ugly rubber shoe for occasions like boating and doing yard work, but still: I laughed and shook my head each time he stepped into the hideous clogs. But a few years ago, my cringey reaction to my dad's shoe choice was suddenly… not warranted. Out of the blue, Crocs rose from the dead, solidifying their rank as a wildly popular shoe choice not just for outdoorsy Midwestern dads, but for Hollywood's most fashionable celebrities, too.

I'll hand it to Justin Bieber: He was one of the first A-listers to deem Crocs cool again (even if his style is often questionable at best.) The Biebs never stopped rocking Crocs everywhere from fancy dinners to arena stages. But over the past several years, more and more stars have been spotted in the shoes everyone loves to hate on — wearing them unironically and unashamedly. Even stylish supermodels Heidi Klum and Kendall Jenner opt for Crocs from time to time, and glamazon Priyanka Chopra once paired a bedazzled set with a black ball gown, really pushing the limits for what Crocs can do.

Needless to say, there's no reason to bash any proud Crocs-lover anymore — in fact, you might be more embarrassed to say you don't own a pair nowadays. The controversial clogs are polarizing visually, sure, but no one can deny their supreme comfort level. With sturdy arch support and a breathable, lightweight design, wearing Crocs is like wearing versatile slippers out on the town. According to one happy customer, "You can wear these things all day, 10-12 hours and your feet and legs will hold out." And she's not alone in her rave review — with over 250,000 five-star ratings on Amazon, the Crocs devotion is real.
