U.S. stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) couldn't manage to keep the winning streak alive and have kicked off the fourth quarter down today. The next big catalyst for the market comes tomorrow when the government reports monthly non-farm payroll data.

Auto sales surge
So far we're seeing strong numbers across the board from Fiat Chrysler (FCAU), General Motors (GM), Ford (F) and Nissan (NSANY). The seasonally adjusted annual rate for car sales in total has now eclipsed 17 million.

Twitter to name Dorsey permanent CEO
Twitter (TWTR) is widely expected to name Jack Dorsey their permanent CEO, anointing him as one of a rare breed of leaders in charge of two companies at the same time like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk. Dorsey would be at the helm of both Twitter and Square for the foreseeable future.

Comcast internet pricing
Comcast (CMCSA) is planning to implement a new data pricing trial in 14 states. Starting today customers will be charged additional fees for using more than 300 gigabytes of data per month. Will a pricing scheme that has become ubiquitous in mobile work in the home?
