TSX set to open higher

August 3 (Reuters) - Stock futures pointed to a higher opening for Canada's main stock index on Monday, with September futures on the S&P TSX index up 0.75 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET.

No major economic events are scheduled for the day .

Canada's main stock index notched its fourth straight day of gains on Friday, led by the financials and materials sectors after a bleak couple of months.Dow Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures were up 0.06 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures were up 0.1 percent and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were up 0.2 percent.
