Trump weighs in on wages and McDonald's pay fight goes abroad

It's another rough day on Wall Street with all three indices (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) trading lower by at least one percent. For the Dow, the slide includes the worst two-day performance since March. Global growth concerns are chief among the reasons for today's dip.

Trump on wages
The Donald, fond of phone interviews, called into Morning Joe on MSNBC today where Mika Brzezinski asked him about his thought's on the minimum wage debate. Trump said, in part, "I want to create jobs so you don't have to worry about the minimum wage... But I think having a low minimum wage is not a bad thing for this country."

A new study finds that working longer hours increases the likelihood of a stroke. Those working 55 hours per week have a 33 percent higher risk of stroke compared to those who work 35 to 40 hours per week.
