True Blood actress Anna Paquin has opened up about the possibility of reuniting with her former co-star Stephen Moyer on screen.

As the first season of her latest dramedy Flack lands on Amazon Prime Video in the US, the X-Men star – who co-produces the show with real-life husband Moyer – said she'd be keen for him to step in front of the camera.

Well, if the streaming service was to pick the cancelled show up for a third season, that is.

"Look, we love working together but none of us knows anything about season 3," Paquin told Entertainment Weekly recently. "It's hard to predict any aspect of our business right now. So, if this is it, it's been beautiful.

"But if it's not, there would be a chance that he would be a client because we love working with our friends and family."

Flack sees Paquin play Robyn, an American PR living in London. Much like Scandal's Olivia Pope, Robyn is well-versed in dispelling potentially life-ruining rumours surrounding the rich and famous. Moyer directed the last two episodes of its second season.

Former Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly, The Handmaid's Tale actor Bradley Whitford, Ratched's Sophie Okonedo, Lost's Daniel Dae Kim and Jurassic Park's Sam Neill also star.

Paquin met Moyer while filming the True Blood pilot way back in 2007. The former played sweet-natured diner waitress Sookie Stackhouse, whose life is changed forever when she becomes romantically entangled with Moyer's mysterious vampire Bill Compton.

Flack aired on W in the UK, and Pop TV in the US. Throughout the latter region, season one is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, with season two supposedly being made to stream "soon".
