Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE:RAD - News) shares closed up 5.01 percent on Monday with about 35 million shares traded. The stock was one of the most active stocks traded on the NYSE. Rite Aid Corporation has extended its long standing partnership with GNC Holdings Inc. (GNC), a leader in healthcare product supplies, for another five years through 2019. The companies’ partnership relation in the drug business dates back to Dec 1998.

Titan Pharmaceuticals Inc. (OTCBB:TTNP - News) shares closed down 12.70 percent on Monday with about 2.1 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest decliners in the OTCBB market. The company announced the receipt of the official minutes (the "Minutes") from a Type C meeting with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on November 19, 2013 to discuss the Complete Response Letter (CRL) to its New Drug Application (NDA) for Probuphine®, an investigational subdermal implant for the maintenance treatment of opioid dependence in adult patients.

Tiger Oil and Energy, Inc. (OTC:TGRO - News) shares closed up 37.21 percent on Monday with about 6.5 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest gainers in the OTC market and hit a new 52-week high of $1.27 during intra-day trading. The company announced on December 20th that it has secured a commitment from an nonrelated source for the $600,000 required to proceed with drilling plans for the Cowley County KS in partnership with TOTO Energy LLC. Tiger will earn a 30% working interest and a 24.45% Net Royalty Interest in the wells drilled and fracked.
