Tree Island Announces First Quarter 2014 Financial Results and Conference Call Notification

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 22, 2014) - Tree Island Steel Ltd. (the "Company") (TSL.TO)(TSX:TSL.DB) is pleased to announce that it will report its first quarter 2014 financial results for the period ended March 31, 2014, during market hours, prior to the Company's Annual General Meeting, on May 13, 2014.

The Company will host an analyst call on the same day at 5:00 pm ET (2:00 pm PT). Dale MacLean, President and CEO, and Nancy Davies, CFO, will discuss the Company's financial performance for the period ended March 31, 2014.
