ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 01, 2022--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transcat, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRNS) ("Transcat" or the "Company"), a leading provider of accredited calibration services, enterprise asset management services, and value-added distributor of professional grade handheld test, measurement and control instrumentation, announced that it has acquired substantially all the assets of Alliance Calibration, LLC (Alliance), effective June 1, 2022. The purchase price was $4.7 million and is subject to certain customary holdback provisions.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, Alliance provides calibrations of precision measurement and control instrumentation to customers in the life science, chemical, aerospace and general industrial markets. With approximately $2.5 million in annual revenue, Alliance offers ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibrations in-lab and onsite at customer locations.

"Alliance is a well-run, quality-focused organization with capabilities that complement the existing service offerings found at our Dayton, OH lab very well.", commented Lee Rudow, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We are confident that we will leverage the capabilities and resources at both locations to increase our presence in this attractive region by cross-selling our enhanced offering to existing and new customers. We are very excited to have the experienced team at Alliance join the Transcat network of labs."
