StockCall.com Provides Stock Research on PACCAR Inc., Navistar International Corp., Wabash National Corp., and Oshkosh Corp.

New York City, New York -- (June 05, 2013)

The U.S. economic environment has shown signs of improvement since the start of this year. Last year, businesses had scaled back their investments amid concerns over the fiscal cliff issue. With the fiscal cliff issue resolved at the start of this year, a great deal of uncertainty has ended. An improving economic outlook augurs well for truck & other vehicle manufacturers as their fortunes depend upon the state of the economy. The ongoing recovery in the housing market and increasing activity in the oil and gas sector has boosted demand for trucks in recent months. In fact, a report released earlier this week showed that growing demand for trucks was the key driver for higher-than-expected auto sales in the month of May. On Tuesday, June 4, 2013, shares in truck & other vehicle manufacturers ended mostly lower, tracking losses in the broader market. The major movers in the sector included PACCAR Inc. (NASDAQ:PCAR - News), Navistar International Corp. (NYSE:NAV - News), Wabash National Corporation (NYSE:WNC - News), and Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK - News).
