This anti-drone gun looks like it can do some serious damage
It may look like something used in a sci-fi flick to take down scary aliens but this real-life drone gun is actually pretty gentle.
It’s called DroneGun, and according to the company that makes it, DroneSheild,
it’s an “awesome beast” and “surprisingly gentle.”
Once you pull the trigger, instead of causing a major explosion,
the DroneGun blocks the signal from the pilot to the drone, forcing it to land immediately.
By using drone sensor gear, the 13-pound device can land rogue quadcopters and any other remote-controlled object within 1.25 miles.
Don’t expect to see this on the shelves at Best Buy.
This high-tech machine is for government officials, military and protection agencies.
