Tarsis Appoints Mr. Jason Weber to Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - March 10, 2014) - Tarsis Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:TCC) ("Tarsis" and "the Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Jason Weber, P.Geo., has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Weber is a geologist with over 20 years of experience in the minerals exploration industry.

He most recently held the position of President and CEO of Kiska Metals Corporation, a junior exploration company focused on the exploration and development of the Whistler gold-copper porphyry project in Alaska.

Mr. Weber was President and CEO of Rimfire Minerals Corporation from 2007 to 2009 when Rimfire merged with Geoinformatics to create Kiska. He initially joined Rimfire in 1999 as Manager of Corporate Communications.

Prior to Rimfire, Mr. Weber was engaged by Equity Engineering as a project geologist working on projects in Canada and Central America. He also sits on the Board of Clear Creek Resources Ltd. and has also worked on gold and copper projects in BC and Australia.

Mr. Weber is also the Chair of Mining For Miracles, the BC Mining industry's charity for BC Children's Hospital. He is past Chair of Mineral Exploration Roundup, one of the world's largest annual exploration conferences and was a Director of the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AMEBC).

He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia and is a registered Professional Geoscientist with the Association for Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC).
