Shanahan served as Acting U.S. Secretary of Defense in 2019 and as Deputy Secretary of Defense from 2017 to 2019. He also helped lead the development of several key U.S. Department of Defense policies and strategies in 2018 and 2019. CAE Inc. shares T.CAE are trading up $0.06 at $32.60.
