Stocks feel oil pain again; More Twitter deal talk; Airlines add perks

New month, but same issues on Wall Street. Stocks (^DJI^GSPC^IXIC) are beginning February on the down side as falling oil prices drag down equities. Keith Bliss of Cuttone & Co. joins us live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to discuss the markets.

Alphabet, Twitter in spotlight

We have a lot of big names releasing earnings this week. And they don't get any bigger than Alphabet (GOOGL), which releases after the bell today. Also, the rumor mill was fired up this morning, sending Twitter (TWTR) shares soaring on the possibility of a Silver Lake Partners buyout. This comes after Twitter announced the departure of four executives last week.

Iowa vote and Wall Street $$$

After months of talking about it, the 2016 presidential race will actually see a VOTE—with the Iowa caucuses  tonight. Wall Street will be watching ... and spending. The non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics finds big political action committees—super PACS—have gotten more than a third of their donations from financial-services executives.

Airline food comeback

Remember the OLD days when you actually got food on an airline flight? Well, those days are coming back (a little bit). Today, American Airlines (AAL) is bringing back free snacks in economy class. The world's biggest airline hasn't done that since 2003. And it will offer hot meals on some long flights.
