Shares of eBay Inc. rose sharply in trading on Tuesday. The stock traded between $55.14 and $56.41 before finishing the day 1.70% higher at $56.27 on volume of 9.23 million. eBay’s shares have seen a series of highs over the past week which is a positive signal. The stock has also crossed its 50-day moving average which further confirms the bullish trend. Shares of Amazon.com Inc. edged higher in yesterday’s trading session, extending their gains from previous trading sessions. The stock closed 1.44% higher at $268.33 on volume of 2.70 million, taking its gains in the last three sessions to over 3.10%. Amazon.com’s shares have crossed above their 50-day moving average this week which is a positive signal. Shares of Liberty Interactive Inc. also edged higher in trading on Tuesday. The stock closed 0.65% higher at $23.37 on volume of 1.79 million, taking its gains in the last three sessions to nearly 1.50%. Shares of E-Commerce China Dangdang Inc. rallied yesterday, extending their gains from previous trading sessions. The stock rose to an intraday high of $5.28 before paring some of the gains to finish the day 11.18% higher at $5.17 on above average volume of 3.95 million.
