For a great value that won’t slack on performance, we look to the Eufy Robovac 11S. While it doesn’t offer a self-disposing feature, it makes up for it in stellar performance. It has a low profile so it can get under hard-to-reach couches and suck up dirt that your standard vacuum can’t reach.
It stays quiet—the same volume as your kitchen fridge—so you can still enjoy the conversation over dinner or watching a movie as your robot vacuum gets to work.

3. Neato D8
Neato makes some of our favorite robot vacuums. They take on a different shape than the traditional circular design of many robot vacs. It has a D-shaped design so that it can go flush against walls to suck up all the dirt that falls along the baseboards.
It offers an app where you can set no-go areas in your home. This can prevent the vacuum from falling down a set of stairs, bumping into pet food, or sweeping up kid’s toys. The technology doesn’t stop there—this machine is Alexa-enabled so you can stop and start it with a verbal command.

4. Shark IQ R101AE
The Shark IQ rivals our favorite Roomba, picking up just as much dirt and offering a dual charging base and self-disposing station. Bonus: It comes with a more affordable price tag than robot vacuums with similar features, but we found it was a little hard to use at times.
Seek out this vacuum if you’re looking for a self-emptying machine at a lower price point. It will get the job done and keep your home clean.

5. Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo T8
If you have a robot nerd on your gift list, then the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo T8 will be a real treat. In our tests, it lagged behind other models in the amount of dirt that it can pick up. Where it shined was its spectacular AI features. It offers Visual Interpretation meaning this vacuum recognizes, identifies, and moves around all the objects in its path.
It has a front-facing camera so that users can stream their vacuum’s navigation. Plus, it can mop your floors, too! This robot vacuum is jam-packed with features.

6. iRobot Roomba i3+
iRobot makes some of our favorite vacuums on the market. While the i7+ tops our list of the best Roombas, the i3+ still offers many of the same features at a lower price point. This is a super low-maintenance vacuum as it will set out and clean your home once a day. This means you only need to think about emptying the canister every one to two months.
Pet owners will rejoice that this machine can help clean up their home and won’t get clogged when sweeping up all that pet hair. For $200 less than the i7+, this is a value option for the Roomba name brand and top-notch cleaning performance.

7. Eufy G30 Edge
Eufy makes powerful, high-performing robot vacuums and the G30 Edge is no different. It offers great suction and picks up dirt on all surfaces with ease. This vacuum is a particularly good gift for someone who needs an entry level tech item.
It lacks some of the more advanced features that other vacuums on this list possess. However, that makes it easier for those less interested in Smart Home apps. Rather than creating no-go zones on your phone, it includes a magnetic barrier to keep the vacuum out of off-limit rooms.
This is a great starter robot vacuum.

8. Eufy L70 Hybrid Robot Vacuum
If you’re looking for an upgraded Eufy, then the L70 Hybrid adds on premium features missing from other Eufy vacuums. It works overtime as a mop in addition to vacuuming. Using lasers, it navigates through rooms, dodging furniture, all while sweeping up messes.
You can control where the L70 goes on your smartphone, and you can even tell it to go over areas multiple times. This means that even the high traffic areas of your home will stay clean without you having to jump in.

9. iRobot Roomba 694
For an affordable Roomba, the 694 gets you the iRobot brand at an under $300 price point. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that the i7+ or even the i3+ does, but it is on par with the amount of dirt both of those models can clean up.
It’s a straight-forward machine that self-charges, so you can set-it up and let it clean your home while you kick up your feet.

10. iLife A9 Robot Vacuum
Price doesn’t always mean better performance. The iLife A9 proves just that. Coming in under $200, it has a short profile (under 3 inches) so it won’t run into shelves or furniture and need straightening out. It comes with dozens of sensors so that you can set boundaries on where it goes.
It also offers different ways to use the machine. You can start and stop it using a smartphone app, but for those who don’t use smartphones, it includes a remote that is as straightforward as a DVD player remote. While it won’t have all the glitz of higher priced models, it will work exceptionally well and won’t break the bank.
