A ginormous Texas ranch with all the makings of an outdoorsman’s personal oasis has hit the real estate market in Zephyr for $14.2 million.
The estate, which consists of an owner’s retreat, family house, two guest houses, an event pavilion that can accommodate up to 500 people, and an Olympic-sized skeet range, sits on 1,240 acres of land.
“You can entertain large groups on the property, allowing everybody to have their own space,” listing agent Linda Plant of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty said to Mansion Global.
According to the listing, the the sprawling property, known as the 3 Springs Ranch, “brings together luxury furnished accommodation, rugged but accessible terrain and secluded location while still being conveniently located near major Texas metros for a full-time residence or quick weekend getaway.”
For those who love to hunt, the ranch has trophy whitetails, along with Scimitar Oryx, Black Buck, European fallow deer, longhorns and Watusi, Mansion Global reported.
There is also a 14-acre lake, numerous ponds and a runway within 30 minutes, so outdoor enthusiasts can hunker down without getting bored.
Massive Texas properties have been a hot topic in the real estate world over the past few months. In August, a 73-acrehorse ranch with soil that’s ready for grape production in Hill Country listed for $17 million, while the 2,400-plus-acre Fairfield Lake in the heart of Freestone County listed for a whopping $110 million, McClatchy News reported.
Zephyr is around 170 miles from Dallas.
