MONTRÉAL, Nov. 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Siyata Mobile Inc. (the "Company" or "Siyata") (SIM.V) (SYATF) is pleased to announce that it has received an initial Purchase Order for 480 of its Uniden® CP250 4G/LTE tablet device from an undisclosed transportation company.
In additional to the Uniden® CP250 devices sold, the Purchase Order includes 480 licences with recurring revenue over a three-year term.
The Uniden® CP250 tablet/DVR connected vehicle 4G device is built for cellular voice calls, Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (“PoC”), data, and navigation with a built-in DVR camera and more.
The device was designed to be installed on the dash or mounted on a windshield, specifically for lighter commercial vehicles such as taxis, vans and delivery trucks. The large 5” wide screen display tablet based design makes installation a breeze and ensures safer communication for professional drivers.
Marc Seelenfreund, CEO and Chairman of Siyata, commented, “This is a great win for Siyata and our first transaction with a recurring revenue software component for one of our PoC devices. We believe the global transportation market poses a very large-scale opportunity for us with our new 4G connected vehicle products. We believe this will be the first of many recurring revenue streams for the company and we plan to put a lot of focus on the transportation vertical.”
According to the United States Department of Transportation, in 2015 there were over 12 million fleet vehicles in the United States. Siyata aims to be the leading provider of connected vehicle and mobile hardware solutions as these commercial fleets upgrade their communication platforms to be compatible with next generation networks, PoC solutions and other software applications.
