Scotiabank Returns for Second Year as Presenting Sponsor of the Rogers(TM) Hometown Hockey(TM) Tour

Celebrating Community Hockey Across the Nation, Scotiabank Helps Kick Off the 24-City Hockey Tour Today in Kitchener, ON

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - October 09, 2015) - Scotiabank is hitting the road once again as presenting sponsor of the Rogers™ Hometown Hockey™ Tour to bring unforgettable experiences to all hockey fans, big and small, across Canada. Scotiabank will showcase its ongoing commitment to community hockey by recognizing locally sponsored teams and delivering a legacy donation at each Hometown Hockey™ location.

"Hockey matters to Scotiabank because it matters to Canadians," said Clinton Braganza, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Canadian Banking at Scotiabank. "Once again, we look forward to bringing this celebration of hockey coast-to-coast and giving hockey fans the opportunity to interact with some of their favourite hockey heroes."

The Scotiabank Community Locker Room will be set up at the festival again this year giving all kids the chance to experience their local hockey community come to life. The Locker Room will feature commemorative jersey giveaways for youth 16 and under, interactive games, instant photo printing stations, and special guest appearances and autograph signing from an exciting list of NHL Alumni.

The legacy donation will see Scotiabank donate $15,000 to a local minor hockey association(s) in all Rogers™ Hometown Hockey™ Tour locations, helping kids across Canada play the game they love and further demonstrating Scotiabank's commitment to kids community hockey. Last year alone, Scotiabank proudly supported over 5,000 community hockey teams.
