Yahoo Finance SAS: Who Dares Wins presenter Ant Middleton dropped by Channel 4 ahead of future series
Channel 4 has announced that it has severed professional ties with SAS: Who Dares Wins' chief instructor Ant Middleton ahead of any future series.
The broadcaster revealed today (March 1) that the former soldier and celebrity hardman, who launched the military training-based reality show in 2015, "will not be taking part" in anything it puts out going forward.
"Following a number of discussions Channel 4 and Minnow Films have had with him in relation to his personal conduct, it has become clear that our views and values are not aligned and we will not be working with him again," C4 explained in a statement.

Middleton has recently made a series of controversial remarks. Last year, he was forced to apologise after seemingly equating the Black Lives Matter movement to the far-right English Defence League, and he was also blasted for a video he posted telling fans to "get out there" amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Just a few hours before the network confirmed on Monday that it would not be working with Middleton going forward, the 40-year-old took to Twitter and Instagram to announce that he had stepped down from his role on the show in order to seek out other opportunities.
"After 5 incredible years I've decided it's time to move on from SAS Who Dares Wins UK," he told his followers. "Big respect to my fellow DS – it's been a journey I'll never forget. Thanks to everyone that took part and made the show what it is. Really excited about the future and what's coming this year."

He then replied to the tweet with a follow-up that simply read: "Stay positive."
"Have loved every minute @antmiddleton," Tipping Point host Ben Shephard responded at the time. "We'll miss watching you on the show but will look forward to what's coming next!"
"Great run mate - congrats," Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan added.
