‘Same old Texas.’ Longhorns fans rip team, Steve Sarkisian after blowing another lead

The Texas Longhorns are 4-3 after blowing an 11-point lead at home to Oklahoma State, 32-24.

As you’d imagine, Longhorns fans aren’t happy. It’s a two-game losing streak for head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Horns, who also blew a 28-7 lead last week against Oklahoma.

Against the OSU, the Longhorns led 24-13 early in the second half after a 38-yard touchdown run by Bijian Robinson.

But that was it. The Cowboys (6-0) scored the next 19 points to stun the DKR Texas Memorial Stadium crowd in Austin.

As Wescott Eberts of fan site Burnt Orange Nation pointed out on social media, the loss came in front of some of the top high school recruits in the nation on hand to see the Horns program up close, including Arch Manning, the highest-rated quarterback recruit in the country for the Class of 2023. He’s the nephew of former NFL stars Peyton and Eli Manning.
