Roots just launched 8 new limited-edition colours for International Sweatpants Day

If there’s ever been an occasion to celebrate sweatpants, it’s now. The ultra comfortable and versatile style has been embraced worldwide throughout the course of 2020, and now that we’re well into 2021, the time has come to show them some appreciation.

Jan. 21 is International Sweatpant Day and to mark the occasion, Canadian retailer Roots is celebrating with new and limited-edition colours in their iconic sweats. The eight exclusive hues include a mixture of bold and neutral shades, “so you can be comfortable and be you,” as the Roots website shared.

Both men and women will be able to shop the new collection of Limited Edition Colour Sweats, which are available to shop just in time for International Sweatpant Day. Men’s styles are available in three new colours: Cinnamon Stick Pepper and Saffron Pepper, which offer two new takes on Roots’ iconic Salt and Pepper fabric, and White Mix, a soft off-white shade.

Women’s styles are available in five new shades: Azure Blue and Saffron, two solid vibrant hues, and Ocean Depths Mix, Cranberry Mix and True Violet Mix which featured a heathered woven finish.

Since Roots sweats tend to sell out quickly (and especially in limited-edition colours!), make sure you pick up your favourites before they’re gone for good.
