You Can Rent The Same Insane Apartment Adele Did During Her New York Tour
Adele has a preference for big ballads, and by the size of the Tribeca condo she rented during her New York tour, she also prefers big real estate. Really, really big real estate.
During her Madison Square Garden tour in September, the British vocalista rented basketball star Deron Williams' huge condo for nearly three weeks. Williams, a former Nets guard, listed the penthouse at 35 North Moore Street last August for $33.5 million, but is now offering it for only $28 million, reports Luxury Listings NYC. It was also just placed on the rental market last week for $60,000 a month with all the furniture included.
The property offered Adele four private parking spaces (which she was reportedly drawn to for privacy reasons), 7,200 square feet of interior space and 2,700 square feet of outdoor space.
Keep in mind that the average house size in America is less than 2,500 square feet. Yes, the terrace itself is bigger than a house.
According to the listing, that giant terrace includes a fireplace, tons of seating area, a barbecue and a dog house (the apartment is the result of combining two apartments, hence all the space). The interior space features giant walls of windows, tall ceilings, a sky-lit great room, a wet bar, a media room and a glass-enclosed, climate-controlled wine room. Oh, and of course, closed-circuit security cameras.
Just in May of this year, Adele bought a Beverly Hills mansion for $9.5 million. No word on how much she spent renting Williams' digs.
Take a cue from Adele and say "Hello" to the apartment with more photos below.
