Procter & Gamble earnings and revenue beat expectations

Procter & Gamble (PG) on Tuesday reported earnings and revenue that topped expectations.

The company posted adjusted earnings of $1.03 a share on revenue of $16.518 billion.

Analysts polled by Reuters had expected earnings of 98 cents a share on revenue of $16.487 billion.
