Prince William is saying thanks to those fighting the ongoing pandemic.

The Kensington Royal Instagram account shared that William has personally thanked more than 300 frontline workers and hospital staffers working to stop the spread of Covid-19 across the UK. According to People, the Duke of Cambridge has made 62 individual phone calls since the start of 2021 to check in with workers about how they're faring amid the global health crisis and to recognise their dedication to fighting the novel virus.

Sharing a quick video clip, the post featured the prince chatting with NHS employee Thelma Craig, praising her for her hard work. The caption read: "To the medical staff, porters, cleaners, volunteers, pharmacists, administrators and all those working across the NHS — thank you for everything that you do."

It continued: "Since the start of this year, the duke has spoken to more than 300 staff and volunteers spanning the breadth of the NHS’s workforce, from all corners of the UK via a series of one-to-one phone calls and participation in regional meetings via video calls."

Also in the clip, William makes a point to highlight the hard work of all NHS workers. "I just want to say on behalf of everyone what a fantastic job you've done. You've all held it together and been absolutely wonderful people," he said. "It's been a real team effort but we're all very proud of you. The NHS has gone from already being much loved to probably the most admired organisation around. Thank you so much for all your hard work."
