Prince Harry reveals what a 'normal night in' looks like for him and Meghan

Watch: Prince Harry describes a 'normal night in' for him and Meghan

Prince Harry has lifted the lid on a 'normal night in' for him and wife Meghan during an interview with James Corden.

Harry's revelation suggests that the couple's life isn't that much different to other parents, as he revealed most nights in consist of making tea for son Archie, bathing him, and reading him a book before spending some time together.

In a segment for The Late Late Show, recorded on a double-decker bus tour of Los Angeles with TV host Corden, Harry said he and his wife might watch game show Jeopardy! or something on Netflix.

In the interview, in which he also revealed Archie's first word, Harry spoke about his early relationship with Meghan, 39, saying dating for royals is often “flipped upside down”, with early dates taking place at home before venturing out together as a couple.

“We got to spend an enormous amount of time just the two of us,” he said of his early relationship with Meghan. “There were no distractions, and that was great, it was an amazing thing. We went from zero to 60 in the first two months.”

During the interview, filmed before he and the Duchess of Sussex confirmed they will not be returning as working members of the royal family, revealed that son Archie’s first word was “crocodile” and that the Queen had sent him a waffle maker for Christmas.

The segment included Corden serving Harry afternoon tea while pointing out celebrity homes.

During a visit to the house that featured in 1990s sitcom The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, Harry rapped the famous theme song.

Harry and a reluctant Corden also tackled an assault course, with the TV host complaining about getting dirty.

Harry and Meghan will appear in a US primetime TV interview with Oprah Winfrey, which is set to be broadcast on March 7.

The couple are expected to discuss their life in America and some of the reasons they decided to step back as full-time members of the Royal Family.

Buckingham Palace confirmed last week that Harry and the Duchess of Sussex’s departure was permanent.

They will not return as working royals and the Queen has stripped them of their royal patronages and Harry of his honorary military roles.

In response to the Queen's decision strip Prince Harry of all of his roles the Sussexes said: “We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.”
