Performance and Driving Impressions Rating:

The Range Rover Sport Supercharged doesn't hide its SUV roots quite as well as some competitors, but it is still blindingly quick in a straight line and quite nimble for such a tall, heavy SUV.

What’s New for 2018?

Despite an increase in horsepower for 2018, we expect the Range Rover Sport Supercharged SVR to deliver performance that matches last year's model. The same can be said of the standard RR Sport, which received a bump of eight horsepower for 2018. Land Rover meddled with none of the big Rover's suspension or braking components, so the 2017 model we tested should deliver comparable ride and handling this year as well.

Since these models are mostly unchanged for 2018, we don't expect their performance numbers to differ. See how the 2017 Range Rover Sport Supercharged performed in our previous in-depth review.
