Yahoo Finance Parks and Recreation and The Good Place stars unite for new Amazon comedy
Parks and Recreation star Jenny Slate is teaming up with The Good Place's Manny Jacinto for a new Amazon movie.
The duo will appear together in romantic comedy I Want You Back, alongside It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor Charlie Day.
I Want You Back follows two dumped 30-odd-year-olds (Slate and Day) who team up to win back their respective exes, who have already moved on with other people.
Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez and Scott Eastwood will also star in the project.

Directed by Jason Orley, I Want You Back is written by This is Us showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who also wrote Love, Simon.
Production is set to begin in Atlanta in early March.
"We couldn't be more excited to see this amazing ensemble come aboard this fun and witty story that audiences will fall in love with," head of Amazon Studios Jennifer Salke told Variety.
I Want You Back also stars Love, Victor star Mason Gooding and Dash & Lily's Midori Francis. Jordan Carlos, Clark Backo, Jami Gertz, Isabel May and Luke David Blumm round out the cast.

Slate's casting follows her joining Alanis Morissette and her former Parks star Nick Offerman in new animated series The Great North.
Jacinto can next be seen in Top Gun: Maverick and new Nicole Kidman-led drama series, Nine Perfect Strangers.
