Back in 2006 Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan were sitting in Paris' car while parked outside the Beverly Hills Hotel. Paparazzi snapped a photo of the trio, and they were soon dubbed the 'Holy Trinity' of the noughties.

15 years on, a lot has changed for the three stars – with Paris recently tying the knot with Carter Reum, Lindsay's engagement to Badar Shammas, and Britney who has been freed from her conservatorship and is now engaged to Sam Asghari.

On December 3, Paris spoke on her This Is Paris podcast, where the 40-year-old spoke about her honeymoon, while addressing the iconic photo that defined a generation.

When the photo was snapped in 2006, Paris and pal Lindsay were involved in a well-documented feud, that often made the headlines.

In the podcast episode, Paris spoke of the photograph and how much she, Britney and Lindsay have seen their lives transform over the years. She said, "I saw Lindsay got engaged, and I know that we've had our differences in the past, but I just wanted to say congratulations to her.

She then said, "I am genuinely very happy for her, and it just makes me so happy to see."

"Fifteen years later, and so much has happened in the past two weeks. I got married, Britney got her freedom back and engaged. Lindsay just got engaged. I love seeing how different our lives are now, and how much we've grown up," she added.

Paris took to Instagram to promote the latest episode of her podcast, where she posted a clip and wrote, "Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 15 years since this #iconic photo was snapped, and we were dubbed the #HolyTrinity of the 2000’s✨."

She continued, "So much has happened since that night and on today’s @ThisIsParisPodcast, I’m recording from my Honeymoon to talk about my 3 day wedding, relive some past memories and so much more."

Fans were quick to comment on the Instagram post, with one saying, "I’m so happy for you 3! You all are beautiful and strong women that I look up to!"
