The majority of shareholders of Hudson's Bay Company (TSX:HBC.TO - News) have agreed to the Privatization Transaction whereby each share of Hudson's Bay Company will receive a CAD$11.00 cash consideration. Subject to the final order from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and completion of certain customary closing conditions, Hudson's Bay Company shares will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite Index prior to the open of trading on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
