TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Owens Corning (OC) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $285 million.

The Toledo, Ohio-based company said it had net income of $3.24 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $4.64 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $4.37 per share.

The construction materials company posted revenue of $2.79 billion in the period.
