Oil States International (OIS) Reports Q2 Loss, Tops Revenue Estimates

Oil States International (OIS) came out with a quarterly loss of $0.08 per share versus the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of $0.05. This compares to loss of $0.17 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -60%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this energy services company would post a loss of $0.12 per share when it actually produced a loss of $0.16, delivering a surprise of -33.33%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has not been able to surpass consensus EPS estimates.

Oil States International , which belongs to the Zacks Oil and Gas - Mechanical and and Equipment industry, posted revenues of $181.83 million for the quarter ended June 2022, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 2.53%.
