Oh snap, you need to try these ’90s cookie cup vodka shots because they’re ~all that~

Fact: the ’90s were the awesome. They were so awesome, in fact, that it still feels right to break out the neon and quote our favorite lines from Clueless every now and then. If you feel the same way (and we know you do), page your bestie on your beeper and tell them to come over to your crib, because you HAVE to try these ’90s throwback cookie cup shots.

So, what’s the 411 on these cookies? Well, they’re super easy to make; just throw your hair up in a scrunchie and get to work! These little cups are so fly, you may even want to skip the shot and just eat the dough. Sprinkle all the sprinkles and turn on some Spice Girls while they bake.

Once they’re finished, add the brightest frosting like it’ll never go out of style and then prepare for the shots. Cheers to the ’90s and everything zig-a-zig-ahh!

Cups

Ingredients:

3/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 cups of flour
1/4 cup sprinkles
1/2 cup white chocolate

Directions:

Cream shortening and sugar together in bowl.
Mix in eggs until smooth.
In a separate bowl whisk together salt, baking soda and flour until combined.
Add dry to wet slowly, and mix until combined (dough will be a little crumbly).
Fold in sprinkles.
Cover bowl and chill dough for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 325°F.

In greased pop-over tin, form chilled dough into cup shapes about 1/4 inch thick.
Place tin in oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown (check during to be sure they hold their shape).

Fill cavities of cups with melted white chocolate.
Let sit for about 1 minute, then pour out the excess chocolate into a bowl and discard.
Allow cups to dry.

Decorate the cups however you like. Pipe frosting on the rim, add sprinkles, whatever!

Shot

Ingredients:

1/4 cup marshmallow vodka
1 cup Irish cream
1/4 tsp pink, gel food coloring
OR
Strawberry milk

Directions:

Add all ingredients together to visual and taste preference.
Stir until food coloring is fully dissolved and combined.

Pour drink into prepared shot glasses and enjoy!
