‘The Office’s’ Brian Baumgartner Relists Los Feliz Home (EXCLUSIVE)

Brian Baumgartner, best known as the hilariously offensive accountant Kevin Malone on “The Office,” has relisted his unassuming home on a quiet street in the celebrity-approved Oaks neighborhood of L.A.’s Los Feliz, with an asking price just shy of $2.85 million. Property records reveal that the stage-experienced actor, whose television credits include brief appearances on “Hot in Cleveland” and “Melissa & Joey,” purchased the property in April 2007 for a hair more than $1.9 million.

He first made it available on the open market several months ago, with an asking price a sliver short of $3 million. Described in listing details as a “New Orleans-style traditional,” the two-story, 1940s residence sits on a bit more than a quarter of an acre, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms in just under 3,100 square feet.

The sunken living room has an elegant black-marble fireplace, built-in bookshelves, and oversized casement windows. The separate dining room connects to a cozy French country kitchen with a black-and-white tile floor that extends into a sunny breakfast room. French doors lead to a grassy garden where, in the spring of 2014, Baumgartner was married in front of many of his co-stars from “The Office.”

Floor-to-ceiling, 12-pane windows flank a second fireplace in the family room that also features a broad bank of French doors accessing a tree-shaded stone terrace. A tile-accented swimming pool occupies a sunny clearing that’s unfortunately a considerable climb up a steep hillside behind the back of the house. Due to its elevation, though, the pool provides peek-a-boo views over the surrounding rooftops.

Other entertainment-industry homeowners in the Oaks include Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Ashley Jensen, Bananarama band member Siobhan Fahey, and two-time Oscar nominee Rooney Mara, who procured her glassy, mid-century-modern pavilion from Alexander Skarsgård in early 2015 for $2.9 million.

Baumgartner previously owned a home in nearby Franklin Hills that was purchased, per property records, in 2012 for not quite $1.1 million, and deeded over to his ex-wife, Julia, earlier this year.
