(OTCQB:NVLX - News) announced a major shakeup of its management team, the company says that a noted European gastroenterologist and oncologist Dr. Matthias Löhr has agreed to serve as chairman of the Silver Spring biotech's newly-formed Scientific Advisory Board
Investors reacted positively, by market's close Oct. 6, with 2.5 million shares changing hands, higher than its 30-day average volume of 2.1 million shares. Meanwhile, NVLX's share price closed at 19 cents, up 1 cent, or 3.53%, from its close of 18 cents the previous day.
New Chairman's Credentials
Dr. Löhr has been a full professor of gastroenterology and hepatology at the respected Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2007.
He has served as Professor of Molecular Gastroenterology at the University of Heidelberg and was the Head of the Molecular Gastroenterology Unit at the German Cancer Research Center. Dr. Löhr has also worked as a translational scientist and Principal Investigator in clinical studies in gastrointestinal oncology for many years and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Scripps Clinic & Research Foundation in La Jolla, California.
After receiving his M.D. degree, Dr. Löhr served a residency in pathology and a residency in internal medicine and gastroenterology in Erlangen and Rostock in Germany, where he also served as an Assistant Professor.

mCig Inc. Unveils Its Latest Consumer Product
On Oct. 6, Bellevue, Wash. based e-cigarette maker mCig Inc. (OTCQB:MCIG - News) stock volume closed flat, with only 628,564 shares changing hands, about 50% less than its 30-day average volume of 1.2 million shares.
This despite the company's Oct. 6 unveiling of its fifth consumer product in less than one year: The Vapolution 3.0 has been designed and engineered by the company's investment subsidiary.

Hemp Inc. (OTCPINK:HEMP - News) experienced flat stock volume Oct. 6, with just 9 million shares changing hands, significantly lower than its 30-day average volume of 12.5 million shares.

American Green Appoints New General Counsel
