MVC Technologies Inc. to Power New Lift Cannabis Co. Resource Centres Across Canada, Aimed to Improve the Process of Acquiring Medical Cannabis under the MMPR

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / November 13, 2015 / MVC Technologies Inc. ("MVC") is pleased to announce that My Virtual Clinic, a cloud based software platform, will be the technology powering Lift Cannabis Co. ("Lift") new Resource Centres set to open in January 2016 in Brampton, Ontario, with the goal of assisting patients through a more efficient and transparent process to acquire medical cannabis under the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR).

Utilizing MVC's unique healthcare technology in conjunction with on-site physicians and other health care providers, Lift will now be able to offer patients a full-scale solution that provides assessments, educational services and improved communication with physicians and Licensed Producers in a regulated environment.

"We are excited to be launching our first two Resource Centres in Ontario," stated Tyler Sookochoff, CEO of Lift Cannabis Co. "Our organization will be able to better meet the cannabis health information needs of patients through our new collaboration with MVC."

My Virtual Clinic will help patients find and schedule consultations with a physician from one of Lift's Resource Centres, receive a medical document and electronically register with a Licensed Producer. To date, MVC has registered 5 Licensed Producers and 5 clinics to the system, with a handful of users expected to join in the coming months.

"Patients visit Lift to look for a physician, research a Licensed Producer or stay up-to-date on current news. Through this collaboration, Lift can now expand its offerings by guiding patients through each step under the MMPR," says Kash Qureshi, CEO of MVC Technologies Inc. "As Canada's largest and most trusted online resource for medical cannabis, we are thrilled to be working with Tyler and his team, to improve access for patients."
