Okay, so we all know that the idea of poop is humorous, that’s why there’s a poop emoji (which even spawned marshmallows and pool floats resembling the poop emoji).

No matter who you are, poop is just… funny.

But have you ever thought about actually eating something that looks like a stinking pile of turds? Apparently in Canada, it’s all the rage!

There’s a poop-themed dessert cafe opening next month, serving traditional Asian desserts that look like poop. And yes, this is really happening.

Poop Cafe Dessert Bar (very fancy name) is the dream of Lien Nguyen, who recognizes the stigma associated with poop. Just like periods or sexual positions, it’s generally not considered socially acceptable to talk about poop in public. Nguyen told The Toronto Star, “It’s considered very disgusting, something you can’t talk about when you’re eating.”

This is the best part what Nguyen had to say: “I’m trying to make poop cute.”

Nguyen’s design of the restaurant includes fake toilets for diners to sit on while they munch on their poop-inspired delicacies. Oh, and the dishes resemble urinals.

We’ll just give you a second to visualize that.

Speaking about this conscious choice to merge the poop-theme with toilets, Nguyen said, “We checked out a toilet-themed restaurant and I just loved it. It’s funny to put food and poop together; it’s a great comparison.” There are already many bathroom-themed cafes in Japan and China, but this poop-themed cafe brings the concept to a whole new level.

Quick trip to Canada, perhaps? We think YES.
