Monument Mining Announces Results of Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 22, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Monument Mining Limited (TSX-V: MMY and FSE: D7Q1) (“Monument” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the results from its Annual General and Special Meeting of shareholders held on November 22, 2022 in Vancouver, B.C.

Resolutions tabled at the Annual General and Special Meeting as proposed in the Information Circular dated on October 18, 2022 were all passed with more than 90% “For” for each and overwhelming participation, including: a special resolution authorizing and approving the continuance of the Company out of the federal jurisdiction of Canada under the Canada Business Corporations Act into the provincial jurisdiction of British Columbia under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia); appointing Grant Thornton LLP as auditors; and fixing the number of board members for the ensuring year at six, being Graham Dickson, Cathy Zhai, Zaidi Harun, Michael John Kitney, Dato’ Sia Hok Kiang, and Jean-Edgar de Trentinian. Each resolution and each nominee of the board of directors have been approved by a vast majority of the shares voted.
