Mercedes-Benz teased a video of what looks like its electric SUV concept, expected to be revealed at the Paris Auto Show.

Mercedes is teasing its answer to Tesla.

The company is expected to unveil a new concept car at the Paris Auto Show on Thursday. The car looks like an SUV and will be the model "for a completely new vehicle generation with electric battery-powered drive," according to the company.

MotorTrend reports Mercedes expects to have four production electric cars ready by 2020.

Carmakers Audi and Volkswagen are also working on electric SUVs that could compete with Tesla's (TSLA) Model X.
